Sarah is absolutely passionate about sewing, dressmaking, fashion and textiles and thinks everyone should get to experience the joys of making. She has dedicated herself to perfecting her sewing skills for over 30 years and enjoys nothing more than to pass those skills on to those wishing to get started on their own sewing adventure.
And sewing is an adventure, with endless possibilities for what you can make and learn along the way, from cushion covers to couture fashion, there is nothing more wonderful than knowing you made something yourself.
With Sarah to hold your hand, it doesn’t matter if you’ve never sewn a stitch in your life; she’ll give you everything you need to have you sewing like a professional, supporting you every step of the way.
She’ll share her own techniques and expertise to ensure you can master your sewing projects confidently, whilst developing your abilities, in a warm friendly, encouraging environment, where there’s no such word as ‘can’t’!
Sarah’s sewing workshops focus on the joy of making at every stage of the process with an emphasis on mastering the skills required to create a beautiful finish. During Sarah’s workshops you’ll be able to work at your own pace and develop your sewing abilities to a standard you can be proud of.

Since making her first skirt at the age of 11, Sarah has spent more than 30 years developing her sewing and dressmaking skills, both personally and professionally.
After graduating in Fashion Design at University, Sarah has worked in the design industry for over 20 years, setting up her own business in 2008, specialising in making limited edition and one of a kind, bags and accessories, which she has sold all over the world.
She has exhibited her work at some of the most prestigious shows and galleries in the country, including Country Living Christmas Fair Islington, Selvedge Magazine Spring Fair, Contemporary Craft Festival Bovey Tracey, Holmfirth Art Markets, Made 12 Brighton and Made By Hand Wales.
Sarah’s work has become known for her craftsmanship and innovative design in the field of textiles winning the BBC Homes and Antiques Magazine Makers award in 2012 and a commission from Kew Gardens to design an exclusive range of bags and giftware.
